We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Minute Taker to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team of Minute Takers across Lancashire who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.

This is a permanent post working 5 days per week providing Minute Taking Support to statutory and non-statutory meetings across Lancashire. Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Providing outstanding support to operational staff, managers and Independent Reviewing Officers, in relation to the minute taking of meetings, you could be really experienced in Minute Taking or looking to build on your previous experience and there is no better place to do this than with us.

We have a blended approach to where we work and you will therefore be required to have a suitable confidential working space within your home and an appropriate broadband connection. Due to the nature of this role the expectation will be that you work from a variety of locations.

NB: This is an essential car user post

You will be required to provide a car for your use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. In certain circumstances consideration may be given to applicants who, as a consequence of a disability, are unable to drive.

What we are looking for:

Passion – You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it's what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.

Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.

Great Communication – You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
