We value professional and personal development while meeting our demanding business objectives As a sales representative, your primary responsibility will be to drive new business sales of our industry-leading payment solutions to medium-sized businesses with an annual card turnover between £3m to £13m About the role: In this role, you will work as part of a sales team to find new opportunities for continued growth. You will provide industry-leading payment solutions to prospective medium-sized businesses What you will be doing: - Achieve monthly sales targets aligned with company objectives - Develop a monthly strategy and business plan to attract new business and extend market share - Generate new business and proactively manage your pipeline of leads using Sales Force - Build professional relationships within your local business network, joining forums and attending events - Build and maintain a network of introducers, ensuring WorldPay is the first choice for all referrals - Apply the WorldPay sales methodology to identify customer needs, propose solutions, negotiate and agree on the best terms for both the company and the customer - Actively sell various WorldPay products to new SME customers within a defined territory - Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive revenue growth - Complete appropriate paperwork with customers, adhering to legal and compliance policies and guidelines - Work with customer service and boarding teams to resolve customer queries and ensure a seamless service - Provide feedback on local trends, competitor insight, customer needs, sales and lead information, and product requirements - Support the Regional Director with onboarding new team members, sharing best practices, and providing support when needed What You Bring: - A full, clean driving license - Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales (Merchant Sales Experience Essential) - Comfortable selling to C-level executives - Excellent consultative approach, solution selling, negotiation, and communication skills - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment - Genuine self-starter who requires minimal oversight but contributes to team performance - Ambitious career-oriented, with a professional outlook and high integrity - Previous experience with a consultative selling methodology and selling to mid-market businesses - Understanding of the payments market Added Bonus if you have: - Pipeline management experience using a CRM solution (e.g., Sales Force) What We Offer You: - A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities - A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities – WorldPay is your final career step! - A competitive salary and company benefits - The chance to work on challenging and relevant issues in the FinTech industry - A work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, and respect We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process to provide services to our clients.
