MET Technician - #142931

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Bodyshop Technician - MET at our Livingston Refurbishment centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim items.
• Undertake the panel repair or replacement damaged motor vehicles following manufactures instructions.
• Detect and diagnose any additional faults which may have occurred during the repair process.
• Refit any stripped panels and trims which were removed to facilitate Bodyshop repairs.
• Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles.
• Strip tyres for replacement/repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standard.
• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
  
  

Ideally, We Are Looking For

• Must have extensive experience to work on a wide range of makes and models of motor vehicles.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as MET technical or Panel beater.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Have good communication skills.
• Health and safety and environmental awareness.
• Teamwork to support and accommodate requests.
• Focused and self-motivated.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
