About The Role
You’ll lead a high-performing team to deliver a best-in-class medical information service, drive digital transformation, and ensure excellence in medical communications across the product lifecycle. This role is pivotal in supporting product launches, enhancing customer engagement, and contributing to Medical Affairs strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the MI&C team to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant responses to medical enquiries.
- Oversee digital platforms, including the medical website and enquiry systems, ensuring functionality and optimisation.
- Drive innovation in omnichannel content delivery and medical communications.
- Manage team development, capacity planning, and performance frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches, regulatory updates, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent the UK & Ireland in global forums and contribute to shaping industry best practices.
- Degree in pharmacy, medicine, or biological sciences (GMC registration and Pharmaceutical Medicine accreditation desirable for physicians).
- Extensive experience in medical information or communications within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK/Ireland codes of practice and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership in team or matrix environments.
- Experience in digital content delivery and omnichannel strategy.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High resilience, adaptability, and ability to manage complex priorities.
- Experience of confidently working with new technologies and AI
