Role Overview
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Bag Drop Assistants to join our event operations team. Working at designated bag drop locations around the stadium forecourt, you will assist fans by securely receiving and storing personal belongings such as bags, prams, umbrellas, and other permitted items. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional during busy event periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate designated bag drop points around the stadium forecourt.
- Welcome and assist fans in a friendly and professional manner.
- Receive, label, and securely store customer belongings, including bags, prams, umbrellas, and other approved items.
- Process and collect storage fees.
- Issue collection receipts or claim tickets and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain security and accountability of stored items throughout the event.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to manage customer queues efficiently.
- Provide clear information and directions to fans when required.
- Follow all stadium policies, cash-handling procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of bag drop locations before and after events.
Essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure, high-volume situations.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
- Previous experience in customer service, events, hospitality, retail, or stadium operations.
- Experience handling cash and card payments.
- Experience working at large-scale events or sporting venues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout shifts.
- Ability to lift and move stored items safely when required.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
