Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Processing

  • Extracting, collating, and consolidating data from financial/annual reports.
  • Supporting data ingestion and mapping into IWSR's taxonomy/database.
  • Handling both structured (quantitative) and unstructured (qualitative) data.

Quality Control & Assurance

  • Supporting country-level and global QC, especially during peak cycles.
  • Verifying accuracy in charting, reporting, and deliverables.

Project Coordination & Support

  • Coordinating tasks between research teams, production, and product leads.
  • Managing timelines and input collection for deliverables and country decks.
  • Assisting with client-facing outputs: pitches, presentations, and custom analyses.

Narrative & Insight Development

  • Turning consumer and market data trends into clear, insightful narratives.
  • Identifying verbatim insights from qualitative responses.
  • Supporting storytelling across core IWSR strategic studies.

Cross-Team Support & Additional Analysis

  • Collaborating with the People Team on projects including carbon footprint analysis.
  • Contributing to database research and external market validation.

Experience:

  • 2–3 years' experience in a data-driven or analytical role, preferably within a market research, insights, or strategic analysis function.
  • Exposure to working with large datasets (quantitative and qualitative), ideally in Excel and/or data visualisation tools.
  • Familiarity with data quality control processes and methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating projects and managing cross-functional stakeholder input.

Skills:

  • Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; experience with data mapping or taxonomy alignment a plus.
  • Ability to synthesise complex datasets into clear narratives and insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially for QC and charting.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially across teams.
  • Curious and proactive approach to improving processes and efficiency.
  • Comfort working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
