- Support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor process performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements in quality, throughput, and cost.
- Ensure processes remain stable, capable, and aligned with production requirements.
- Design, specify, and source tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve repeatability and operator ergonomics.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to validate tooling performance and ensure readiness for production.
- Maintain documentation and lifecycle management for all process‑related equipment.
- Lead the industrialisation of new products introductions, ensuring smooth transition from R&D to Operations.
- Develop and validate manufacturing methods, including PFMEAs, control plans, and process capability studies.
- Support design‑for‑manufacture (DFM) activities with engineering teams.
- Create, update, and maintain clear, accurate work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure documentation reflects current best practices and complies with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Train operators and technicians on new or updated processes.
- Own the creation and maintenance of ERP routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ensure manufacturing master data accurately represents real‑world processes and supports efficient planning.
- Collaborate with planning, supply chain, and engineering to maintain configuration control.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.
- Participate in cross‑functional problem‑solving activities, including root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
- Support R&D with new process development as required.
- Support audits, customer visits, and internal reviews with process expertise.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, or similar) or equivalent professional training and experience.
- Hands‑on experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven ability to develop, optimise, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
- Experience designing or specifying tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Familiarity with process industrialisation and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Strong capability in creating and maintaining work instructions, standard operating procedures, and other process documentation.
