Role Overview

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth operation of their fast-paced food site in West London. Your role will involve the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of electrical components and systems to uphold efficiency and safety standards. Working within a dynamic environment, you will collaborate with various teams to address maintenance challenges promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and implementing efficient repair solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Cross functional collaboration to prioritize and co-ordinate maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Participating in the procurement process for components and equipment, ensuring suitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to operational teams regarding electrical safety protocols and best practices.
  • Documenting maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and upgrades, to maintain comprehensive records of electrical system performance.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance roles, preferably within a fast-paced industrial setting. (2+ years)
  • Proficient understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
