About The Role

As a locum Consultant in Haematology, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

10 DCC sessions

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm plus 1:5 on call (I normally negotiate to acquire locum if needed. Locums normally ask for 1:4 or 5 but we try and get 1:7 to limit costs)

Support Clinical Haematology clinics, ward rounds and analysis of diagnostic blood films, provision of clinical advice

Responsibilities

• Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff
• Contributing to service development and audits
  
  

Essential

What We're Looking For

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
  
  

Desirable

• CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
