Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning Manager to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive learning programs across multiple teams. This role will drive employee development initiatives, create engaging onboarding experiences, and establish measurable training outcomes that align with organizational objectives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate training programs for multiple teams, ensuring consistent quality and effectiveness of learning experiences
  • Develop on-boarding plans for all new joiners, from Day 1 to completion of training, deployment into role and ‘continuous learning’ throughout their career.
  • Apply expertise in learning theories to solutions that solve difficult learning problems.
  • Partner with stakeholders and/or managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities, milestones, and drive delivery to meet deadlines to meet program goals.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted learning solutions
  • Supervise learning coordinators in executing training and onboarding plans
  • Design and implement innovative learning solutions using various methodologies (digital, classroom, experiential, etc.)
  • Develop metrics and evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness
  • Create engaging content that drives participant retention and knowledge application
  • Work with partners across Europe and North America to ensure alignment with best practices, processes and technology.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or university degree
  • A strong Amazon Operations background with a passion for the development of leaders OR, 2 years of work experience with solid career progression in designing, developing, and/or delivering classroom training in the workplace.
  • B2/C1 English level
  • Project management experience in a matrix organization
  • Superior communication and influence skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with audiences at all management levels.
  • Experience formulating and implementing training/performance improvement strategies, technologies, methodologies, and procedures for standardization and delivery throughout the organization
  • Aptitude for learning and using technology for both training design and data analysis.
  • Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Good Excel knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • L&D certification by recognized body (e.g. CIPD)
  • Experience in instructional design tools (e.g. Storyline, Camtasia)
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Proven ability to actively use business metrics and or talent metrics, and training data to track, trend, and manage impact of training efforts
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Experimental Design & Research
  • Experience creating e-learning content or using LMS tools
  • Experience from within logistics, distribution or retail industry is a plus
