Join Holland & Barrett's Global Product team as our Lead Packaging Designer and be the creative force behind H&B's global product portfolio . You'll champion packaging innovation from design concepts through to production, ensuring every product reflects our brand values. As a hands-on leader, you'll mentor both in-house and freelance designers and collaborate closely with product development, marketing and external agencies. This is a unique chance to shape the next generation of Holland & Barrett packaging, drive consistency across global markets and introduce fresh design workflows - making a real impact on how health & wellness products are presented to millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of innovative, market-ready packaging that aligns with H&B brand guidelines, customer insights and emerging trends
• Develop concepts from initial sketches to production-ready artwork, coordinating with our our internal artwork team and external artwork agency to ensure accuracy
• Partner with product development teams to translate product features and positioning into compelling packaging solutions
• Mentor and manage in-house and freelance designers, providing creative direction and performance feedback
• Maintain and enforce visual standards through rigorous quality checks of proofs and final files
• Manage multiple packaging projects concurrently, ensuring delivery on time and within agreed budgets
• Present design proposals and trend insights to senior leadership and represent H&B at key industry events
• Collaborate with the Head of Packaging to refine processes and drive strategic improvements across the design function
  
  

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Nuneaton with requirements to be in the office at least twice a week.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• Extensive experience in graphic design with a strong focus on packaging projects and brand work
• Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering multi-format packaging solutions
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Deep understanding of packaging production processes, materials and print methods
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
