• Provide strong operational leadership across the HR Business Partnering function, ensuring consistency and quality of service delivery

• Act as a senior escalation point for complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including cases involving senior stakeholders

• Partner with leaders across the organisation to support workforce planning, organisational change and people-related initiatives

• Support and lead change activity, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder engagement and effective people management throughout

• Build trusted and credible relationships with senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and professional guidance where required

• Work collaboratively across the wider People function to drive continuous improvement in processes, practices and employee experience

• Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of the organisation’s people strategy and HR operating model

About you

• We’re keen to speak with experienced HR leaders who bring a strong background in managing and developing HR teams within a Business Partnering environment.

• You’ll be a resilient and approachable leader with the ability to navigate complexity, influence stakeholders and support teams through periods of change with confidence and credibility.

• Proven experience leading and managing HR professionals within a Business Partnering model

• Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams

• Significant employee relations experience, including complex and high-risk case management

• Experience operating within a unionised or highly regulated environment

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge at senior level

• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance operational demands and strategic priorities

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Public sector experience would be beneficial but is not essential
