The purpose of the role is to lead engineering workstreams on the infrastructure with experience interfacing with electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines by supporting the Client in the planning, oversight, supervision, and assessment of the production of the infrastructure design documentation. This will include planning for and supporting integration with internal project stakeholder groups as well as external customer stakeholder groups.
What Do We Need
BEng S.T.E.M degree or similar with equivalent experience
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent experience
Location
The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre or at site in Helensburgh.

What Do We Need
- Knowledge of current design standards and working practices including British & European Standards.
- Knowledge on High Voltage & Low Voltage electrical systems.
- Theoretical and practical skill and experience across concept design, detailed design and construction stages across a range of electrical engineering projects (ideally including industrial and/or maritime).
- Experience in the design assessment of electrical plant and equipment to withstand hazards.
- Experience of authoring and producing robust technical justification and supporting documentation to allow for relevant electrical design modifications to be authorised within a high hazard industry.
- Familiarity with industrial plant and machinery such as pumps, generators, HVAC, SCADA, PAVA Systems etc.
- Experience working on multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input (ideally within defence and/or maritime).
