Job Description
JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
- Preparation and analysis of slurry and manure samples for Residual Biogas Potential or Biomethane Potential.
- Analysis of IBA/ APCr samples for pH and Alkali Reserve analysis.
- Attention to detail essential due to high volume workload.
- Preparation of slurry and manure samples for Residual Biogas Potential or Biomethane Potential analysis.
- Preparation of IBA/ APCr samples for analysis.
- Analysis and understanding of data produced by RBP, BMP, pH and Alkali Reserve analysis.
- Perform maintenance and calibrate instruments.
- Check data before releasing results and transfer onto the LIMS system.
- To work in other analytical roles within the company as the workload dictates.
- Maintain Cawood credibility by always portraying a positive image, keeping equipment and PPE clean.
- Respect company equipment and use as per guidelines and to report any damage to management as soon as possible.
- Work as a team and maintain morale and actively offer help and assistance wherever possible.
- Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures provided.
- Keeping safety at the forefront of laboratory work and being proactive ensuring accidents and near misses are always reported straightaway to managers in line with our company accreditation and policy.
