Year 6 students In order to be considered for this KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you must possess a degree with a minimum grade of 2:2, demonstrate a natural ability to connect with and build strong relationships with the Year 6 students you will be working with, and ideally have the intention to begin your career as a Primary School Teacher by wanting to complete a PGCE Primary course.
As a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will assist a Year 6 class as they prepare for and take their SATs, which are the most significant year and component of their primary school experience. There may be a significant number of SEN needs among the
Year 6 students you will be working with, such as autism, ADHD, emotional and behavioural issues (EBD), and other cognitive learning challenges. This has led to the development of a friendly, nurturing environment for both staff and students at this beautiful primary school, and you get to contribute to this lovely primary atmosphere while being compensated for your numerous triumphs. The closest bus stop is only a 4-minute walk from this Wolverhampton primary school, which has a 'GOOD' rating and great transit options to and from the school.
