Key Stage 1 Teacher - #187957
Newark Hill Academy
Job Description
We are looking for a KS1 teacher who truly believes in giving every child the very best start to their education. Someone who holds unwaveringly high expectations, not just for outcomes, but for what every child is capable of achieving. A passion for phonics is essential - you will understand how early reading unlocks everything, and be committed to delivering it with precision, consistency and energy, ensuring all children become confident, fluent readers as quickly as possible.
At the heart of this role is a commitment to excellence for all. We want someone who combines strong subject knowledge with a relentless drive to secure high outcomes, but who does so with warmth, care and genuine connection. You will embody our CHILD ethos, putting children first, building meaningful relationships, and creating a classroom where pupils feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve. You will bring both challenge and nurture in equal measure, ensuring no child is left behind.
This is an opportunity to join a team that is ambitious for every pupil and proud of the difference we make each day. We are looking for someone who is reflective, committed and ready to contribute to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement. If you are passionate about early learning, driven to make a real impact, and believe that every child deserves both excellence and care, we would love to hear from you.
