Internal sales/Trade Counter - #195854

We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter, Warehouse & Driver Assistant to join a busy and growing business based in Corby.

This is a varied role that combines customer service, internal sales, warehouse operations, and delivery driving duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving customers at the trade counter and providing excellent customer service.
• Handling incoming and outgoing customer calls in a professional manner.
• Processing customer orders received via email, online, and over the telephone.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Responding to customer enquiries, providing order updates, and resolving issues.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding product availability and specifications.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
• Delivering products to customers using company vehicles.
• Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Assisting with general warehouse and trade counter duties as required.
• Developing product knowledge through ongoing training and supplier support.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a trade counter, warehouse, customer service, or sales environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
