You will develop and maintain integrations using Salesforce MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, SQL Server and SSIS, ensuring reliable data movement between cloud and on‑premise systems, B2B trading partners, supply chain platforms, e‑commerce channels and retail systems. Working closely with integration specialists and wider IT colleagues, you will help modernise legacy integrations, support testing and deployments, and contribute to a robust and scalable integration landscape.
Responsibilities

- Design, develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database integrations to support data movement and transformation.
- Design, implement and maintain SSIS ETL packages to support enterprise‑wide data integration processes.
- Implement integrations between internal systems, cloud platforms and external trading partners, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange.
- Participate in solution design discussions with architects and senior developers to shape scalable integration solutions.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including API failures, data mapping problems and database errors, to minimise disruption.
- Assist with the deployment of integration solutions and support the transition of new and updated integrations into business‑as‑usual environments.
- Create and maintain documentation, including integration specifications, data mappings and interface definitions, to ensure clear and reusable designs.
- Support monitoring and alerting processes so that integration failures are detected, investigated and resolved promptly.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for integration solutions when required, working closely with support and operations teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams, project managers and external technology partners to deliver integration projects on time and to agreed standards.
- Follow established development standards, coding practices and integration architecture guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
- Act in line with the organisation’s values and ethical standards, contributing to a positive and responsible working culture.
- Act responsibly and co‑operatively with regard to health and safety, ensuring that your actions do not endanger yourself or colleagues.
- Positively contribute to the IT team ethos and working environment through professional conduct and collaboration.
- Participate in training and development activities deemed necessary for the role to maintain and enhance technical capability.
- Demonstrate adaptability to new tasks, requests and evolving business requirements within the integration landscape.
- Maintain a proactive approach to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance integration solutions and processes.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Demonstrable development experience with Salesforce MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development, including CloudHub deployments.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including SQL Server.
- Strong SQL development skills, including stored procedures, joins, data transformation and performance optimisation.
- experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and data integration.
- experience designing and maintaining SSIS ETL packages and data pipelines.
- experience developing APIs using REST and SOAP services.
- Understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV.
- Understanding of API‑led integration architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and secure integration design.
- Ability to convert business requirements into clear and robust technical integration solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability across APIs, middleware and databases.
- experience working with third‑party integration partners and external vendors.
- experience using development tools such as Git, Jira and Confluence.
- experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality development standards.
- Willingness and ability to participate in training and development relevant to the role.
- Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability to new tasks, requests and business requirements.

- experience in the apparel, fashion or retail sectors.
- experience with enterprise integration platforms such as Infor ION.
