At Omniplex Learning we are passionate about online learning, and work with a varied client base to design innovative and engaging digital learning. We are seeking an Instructional Designer who can help us to push the boundaries of content development, based on a solid foundation of learning science and following evidence-based best practice.

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively to diverse audiences
  • Excellent ability to articulate complex information clearly, concisely, and grammatically correctly in written formats
  • Skills in using industry-standard authoring tools, with demonstrable expertise in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360
  • Strong analytical skills to assess learning needs and creative problem-solving abilities to design effective instructional strategies.
  • Proven experience within Instructional Design and development roles within L&D teams, demonstrating an enthusiasm for developing learning content
  • Typically holds a strong understanding of educational principles, often gained through a degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in learning technologies, including authoring tools, LMS features, and emerging platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various instructional design models and their application in different learning contexts.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to understanding and meeting client needs and building positive, collaborative relationships.
  • Works effectively within a team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to collective goals.
  • Takes initiative, manages workload effectively, and demonstrates a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Can adapt to changing project requirements and client needs, demonstrating flexibility in approach.

About The Role

As an Instructional Designer at Omniplex Learning, you’ll use your expertise in learning design and technology to create impactful, engaging digital learning solutions for a wide range of clients. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll analyse learning needs, design innovative strategies, and develop high-quality content that empowers learners and drives measurable performance improvements. Your work will play a key role in maintaining Omniplex Learning’s reputation for delivering cutting-edge, effective learning experiences. In this role you will:

  • Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences by applying sound instructional design principles to create impactful and effective learning solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique learning needs and build strong, lasting relationships that foster successful project outcomes.
  • Drive excellence through organisational collaboration by meeting with departments across the organisation and supporting the wider drive for learning excellence.
  • Understand how learning solutions contribute to measurable business outcomes and ROI for our clients and articulate this value within our proposals and designs.
  • Provide expert consultancy and recommend effective learning solutions based on your analysis of client needs and your knowledge of learning best practices.
  • Apply innovative and creative problem-solving approaches to learning design challenges, ensuring engaging and effective solutions for diverse learning needs.
  • Implement learning theory and best practices throughout the design and development process to ensure our solutions are pedagogically sound and achieve desired learning outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in digital learning to ensure Omniplex Learning remains at the forefront of innovative learning solutions.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to internal best practices within the Omniplex team, helping to elevate the overall quality and effectiveness of our learning offerings.
