Hygiene Operative (Cleaner) - PT or FT - #195320

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team who will be responsible for enhancing the hygiene programme in our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lankarshire.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We also have some part time work available on Saturday and Sunday each week.

Shift patterns include:

• Day shift - 6:00 to 14:00
• Late shift - 14:00 to 22:00
• Late shift - 16:00 to 00:00
  
  

The successful candidate will possess a high sense of pride in their work, be able to work using their own initiative and will be focussed on working alongside the warehouse team to maintain an excellent working environment.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21). If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

The core duties will involve but are not limited to:

• Day to day cleaning of the warehouse including emptying bins and operating the waste compactor.
• Collecting recyclable materials.
• Operating the bailer.
• Quickly dealing with issues such as spill and trip hazards.
• Collecting and recording of damages to assist in the reduction of waste.
• Yard maintenance.
• A Counterbalance licence would be desirable but is not essential.
