Principal Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the QHSE Manager in maintaining all accreditations: ISO9001, 14001, 45001 &


BRC


  • To provide guidance and advice to managers, supervisors and employees on all issues


pertaining to health & safety.


  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulatory HSE requirements and company


policies.


  • Risk Assessment: Assist teams in identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing


controls to manage and reduce risks.


  • To establish safe operational procedures which Identify and take account of all relevant


hazards.


  • Incident Management: Record, report, and investigate incidents and near misses.
  • Training & Coaching: Provide HSE training sessions and educate the workforce on safety


expectations and lessons learned from previous incidents.


  • Audits & Inspections: Perform safety audits and inspections to measure the level of safety


culture and compliance.


  • Environmental Management: Ensure waste segregation and measure required


environmental parameters.


  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors and consultants in all aspects of health and


safety.

Qualifications:


  • Qualifications / Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or other relevant HSE certifications.
  • Experience: 5 Years proven experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG


environment.

Other considerations:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suit.
