About Us

The HR Officer supports the delivery of a high‑quality People services by providing efficient operational HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HR administration and HR systems management. The role is key in ensuring employees receive timely, accurate support and that HR processes run smoothly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new starters receive required documentation, equipment, and induction plans.
  • Maintain recruitment records and ensure compliance with right‑to‑work checks.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems
  • Support the preparation of HR reports and dashboards.

Training & Development

  • Support performance review processes and documentation.
  • Support the L&D manager.

Compliance & Policy

  • Support the updating and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to audits and reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance

General HR Support

  • Help drive HR projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to the HR team as required.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving approach and good judgement.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the organisation.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in an HR role (typically 1–3 years).
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards Level 5) preferred.
  • Experience with HR systems (HRIS) essential
  • Experience with compiling analytical reports
