Be a key player in our People team
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly dedicated individual to champion exceptional employee experiences throughout their journey with the company. You will drive and implement initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to deliver insightful HR advice, guidance, and coaching to managers. Your expertise will be invaluable in generalist HR areas such as absence management, performance enhancement, investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution. Furthermore, you will provide crucial support to the Head of People on strategic change projects.

Be a key player in our People team

Your expertise will be invaluable in generalist HR areas such as absence management, performance enhancement, investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution. Furthermore, you will provide crucial support to the Head of People on strategic change projects.
Additionally, You Will Be Responsible For
- Ensuring any compliance requirements linked to HR and any GDPR HR specific data is compliant to our policies
- Supporting our compliance team with audits, ensuring right to work & DBS checks are carried out in a timely manner
- Ensuring that any changes to legislation are reported to the Operational Board and BOD in a timely manner
- Developing monthly reporting to provide Head of People with updates e.g. any formal processes in progress, Bradford factor, churn/employee turnover etc
- Reviewing all tasks, processes, policies and interactions to continually improve
- Using the lessons learnt framework that Opus has created to ensure we review issues that arise and learn from them

You Will Have The Following Experience/skills
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum), working towards Level 5 or Level 5 qualified preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in a HR generalist role
- Strong working knowledge of HR processes and procedures
- Confident in handling employee relations issues
- Able to build effective relationships across all levels
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a positive, can-do attitude
- Happy and able to manage various work streams
