Role purpose

The role of the HR Administrator is all about supporting the Senior HR & Operations Manager with everything to do with employees—whether it’s handling data, helping with processes, or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll need to be a strong team player, as you’ll be working with lots of different stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include (but won’t be limited to):

  • Maintain the HR Service Desk, ensuring issues are assigned correctly and resolved within SLA timelines
  • Keep office supplies and food stocked, ensuring everything is well-organised and replenished as needed
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with onboarding processes and related tasks
  • Coordinate annual leave and assist with tracking and reporting employee sickness; provide support to managers as required
  • Help facilitate and manage performance processes, including PIPs, 1:1s, and probation reviews. Ensure accurate documentation, follow up on actions, and flag any concerns to HR leadership
  • Assist managers with annual pay reviews, Team Operating Documents (ToDs), and any ad hoc role or structural changes
  • Oversee joiners, leavers, and movers, and maintain accurate HR records across systems.
  • Support HR leadership and global People Ops, maintain staff benefits packages, and assist with general office and facilities administration.

Success factors

You will make a great match for this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 1 year of HR-related experience
  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • General knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling data or statistics
  • Strong IT skills, with solid knowledge of Google Suite

Desired Skills

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • CIPD Level 3 or CIPD Level 5 (Desired not mandatory)

Location & working hours

This will be a part-time opportunity based in our Southampton office for 20 hours per week (we can be flexible on how you split these hours, but you'll ideally work mornings if possible).

Salary

This position will offer an hourly pay of £15 p/h.
