About The Role
Our Housekeeping Assistants work as part of a supportive team to deliver a 5-star guest experience to those staying at one of our 5 Partnership hotels. Set in some of the most beautiful locations in the UK, our hotels have their own unique identity. Each one offers a fantastic place for Partners to unwind and maintain the work-life balance they deserve. As a Housekeeping Assistant you'll be working predominantly in the Housekeeping team but also have the opportunity to assist in our own laundry so you'll enjoy plenty of variety with plenty of learning opportunities in the role.
At a glance:
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.45am to 4pm and 9.45am to 6pm. Includes weekends on a rota basis. Flexibility is required to cover occasional evenings.
Contract type: Fixed Term Temporary (up to 6 months)
Pay rate: £12.40

To work as part of the hotel team to deliver and maintain a first rate guest experience through the focus on the delivery of market leading customer service.
To add value to the efficient and profitable running of your hotel in order to achieve your business and personal objectives, along with those of your team and the hotel.

marketplace.

Guests stay on the National Trust run island in the amazing Tudor castle, set amongst 17 acres of private grounds with stunning Italian gardens and a dedicated beach offering relaxation and beautiful nature walks.
If you are looking for a hotel with a difference, this could be it. You’ll be surrounded by a team of passionate and dedicated hospitality Partners who give our guests the best experience possible. What is different about our guests though is that they are Partners with their friends and family.
As co-owners in the business, you’ll see this difference in the way your teammates and you approach your job and carry out your responsibilities. With all of the island to explore or using any of the facilities on offer; a croquet lawn, children's play area, badminton, football, cricket, fishing, archery and frisbee golf you can guarantee that our guests will be hungry and looking to recharge with the fantastic food offering we give them.
Boats: We have our own private boat service from Poole Quay to get Partners to and from work, these boats run approximately once an hour between 7am - 11pm. Castello Boat berths in the Marina.

Buses: Buses stop at 7pm and all staff are required to cover late night shifts beyond the bus times.

Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas of the hotel.
- Maintaining strict health and safety standards.
- Supporting the implementation of changes to ensure continuous innovations and improvements are made within the team.
- Supporting other areas of the hotel operation when needed.
- Safe use of housekeeping tools and chemicals including; vacuum cleaners, mops and cleaning materials.
- Although task focused, our Housekeeping Assistants also need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills throughout their day. Ensuring every interaction our guests have are positive ones which will see them return time and time again.
- Self-motivated a ready to work alone when needed.
- Have a great attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Able to work under time pressure.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Experience in a hotel/hospitality environment is welcomed but not essential. We'll give you the training you need to perform at your best, everyday.
