Home School Link Worker – The Beacon School

The Beacon School is looking for a compassionate and proactive Home School Link Worker to support pupils and families through strong home-school partnerships. This permanent role focuses on improving attendance, well-being, and engagement, while helping vulnerable pupils overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

• Build positive relationships with families, staff, and external agencies.
• Support pupil welfare, attendance, and academic success.
• Provide early intervention and tailored support for vulnerable families.
• Assist students transitioning into The Beacon School.

• Experience supporting vulnerable children and families.
• Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
• A caring, organised, and proactive approach.
• Good ICT skills and a commitment to professional development.

• Salary: £23,914 FTE (£20,001.60 Actual)
• Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)
