The vacancy
The Enrolment and Data Team is looking to appoint a HE (Higher Education) Specialist who will work with peers and curriculum areas to undertake a wide range of student data-related and administrative duties, to deliver a professional and customer-focussed service to internal and external customers and students; ensuring that data quality and data management across the student life cycle operates effectively.
As a HE Specialist, Responsibilities Will Include
The post holder will undertake assigned duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently, ensuring that all actions are discharged within the regulatory and legislative requirements to which the Group is subject, and:
With full regard for the Group’s equal opportunities and health and safety requirements;
Interview date: 17th June

The Enrolment and Data Team is looking to appoint a HE (Higher Education) Specialist who will work with peers and curriculum areas to undertake a wide range of student data-related and administrative duties, to deliver a professional and customer-focussed service to internal and external customers and students; ensuring that data quality and data management across the student life cycle operates effectively.
As a HE Specialist, Responsibilities Will Include
- Taking a lead role in HE enrolment activities
- Processing and recording status updates (withdrawals, suspensions, transfers and completions)
- Assist with data returns
- Data quality checks to meet OfS and internal audit requirements
- Liaising with partner Higher Education Institutions
- Student Finance related duties
The post holder will undertake assigned duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently, ensuring that all actions are discharged within the regulatory and legislative requirements to which the Group is subject, and:
With full regard for the Group’s equal opportunities and health and safety requirements;
- To achieve individual and team targets assigned through the Group’s annual planning and staff appraisal processes;
- Within approved income and expenditure budgets;
- Subject to the Group’s approved strategies, policies and procedures.
- GCSE English & Maths at grade C/4 or above.
- L3 qualification in relevant discipline or equivalent appropriate experience in the education sector.
- Experience and knowledge of a student-related stream, particularly Higher Education.
