The Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our busy team within the Transport department of a manufacturing site to ensure the delivery of cardboard packaging pallets to our customers safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily check of artic unit and trailer and or rigid vehicle via electronic device
• Driving to customers and completing deliveries as per schedule
• Driving and Working time compliance
• Vehicle Defect reporting
• Communicating any on road issues to Transport office
• Debrief and fuel vehicle for following day
• Admin, safe return of signed delivery notes
  
  

Key Skills & Experience:

• HGV Class 1 Drivers Licence
• Completed 5 days drivers CPC
• Experience driving HGV’s in UK
• Good Geographical Knowledge
• Problem solving skills
• Adaptable, able to embrace change at short notice
• Good communication both verbal and written
• IT competent - Electronic devices
