The Role
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Heliport Technician to join our Wearables and Leisure based in Aberdeen Heliport.
Key responsibilities for the Heliport Technician role include but are not limited to:
- Issue Survival Suits and Lifejackets to those travelling offshore
- Check that passengers are wearing all safety equipment correctly
- Deliver a verbal safety brief to passengers prior to them boarding the aircraft
- Meet all inbound flights and ensure all safety equipment is returned correctly
- Prepare returned suits for delivery back to the service centre for inspection
- Carry out daily checks on Lifejackets, Emergency Breathing Systems and PLB’s
- Prepare flight paperwork to Survitec and regulatory standards
- Manage Survival Suit and Lifejacket stock levels at heliport sites
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders
- Raise suggestions to improve our products and processes
- Ensure assigned daily workload is achieved to meet customer requirements and targets

About You
Essential criteria:
- Educated to high school level or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence
- Excellent attention to detail
- Can confidently communicate verbally to groups of people
- Understand the importance of survival equipment and have an appreciation of how adhering to company procedures is crucial
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Appetite to deliver work schedule
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Must be willing to travel between all Aberdeen heliport sites
