We are seeking to appoint a Head of Year to join our pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a high-impact leadership role within a supportive and well-established school.

£32,597.00 - £35,412.00 pa pro rata


Contract Type: Permanent


Working Pattern: Term time only plus 3 weeks to be worked during the school holidays


Location: Horsham, West Sussex

What You Need to Succeed


As a Head of Year, you will lead a year group of approximately 230 students and a team of tutors, playing a central role in shaping the culture, outcomes and experience of students.

You will:

  • Lead on behaviour, attendance, safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Work closely with senior leaders, staff, parents and external agencies
  • Support and challenge students to meet high expectations
  • Drive improvements in engagement, conduct and attendance
  • Lead and develop a team of tutors
  • Celebrate student success and promote a positive year group ethos

We are looking for someone who:
