About this opportunity

Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is the UK's leading consumer and commercial bank, with a presence that reaches nearly every community and household in the country.

LBG is dedicated to prioritising customers and is on a strategic path to fulfil its goal of being the Best Bank for Customers.

We're thrilled to offer an experienced professional the chance to join our Asset Management and Remarketing team within LBG's Transport division. This market leading division is instrumental in aiding customers and drivers as they shift towards more sustainable driving options, playing a pivotal role in advancing the transition to Net Zero by facilitating the financing of electric vehicles for both consumers and business clients.

The Asset Management and Remarketing team is responsible for the manufacturer relationships that support our customers, used leasing, and optimising asset value on vehicles returning from customers.

You'll have the unique opportunity to create and implement the strategy to fully integrate our vehicle asset management capabilities, from purchase through multiple customer contracts and ultimately final disposal at the optimum point.

This capability is a critical success factor as the UK transitions to electric vehicles and as such is highly visible up to the most senior levels in the group.

To excel in this role, you should ideally have extensive knowledge of the motor industry and vehicle finance/leasing. A proven track record in remarketing, supplier management, product development and contract management is preferred. We're looking for highly curious individuals who can innovate, motivate colleagues to challenge ways of working and deliver tangible benefits.

About us

Join us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you'll enjoy a fulfilling career where you're free to be yourself. Great colleagues, transforming workspaces, hybrid working, and a wide variety of career opportunities - you'll find them all here.

  • Responsible for the regular, accurate, timely analysis and reporting on all aspects of the remarketing department.

  • Present key themes to senior stakeholders from a wide range of sources and identify possible impacts on the business.

  • Implement business plans to achieve results and act at pace.
