Grounds Maintenance Operative - #145493
Abri Group
Date: 3 days ago
City: Yeovil
Contract type: Full time

Grounds Maintenance team
We're responsible for the cyclical upkeep of the communal areas to our customers. This covers a large geographical area and our customers includes market rent, shared ownership and independent living communities on many estates or the whole estate. We also provide a reactionary service where we have to deal with hazards which can be anything from dumped items to clearing snow on our independent living blocks.
We're also responsible for the management of the trees and like to retain as many as possible or replant if any are removed. We believe that the trees play a big part in our communities by providing shade in the summer and promote a healthy wellbeing as well as offsetting our carbon footprint.
Your new role
We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our busy team.
We're looking for a proactive, great team player and someone with a good eye for detail who's looking for a new challenge.
Working within a team, you'll be responsible for the upkeep of the external communal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges. You may also be required to undertake soft landscaping/minor tree work.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and well-driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and diverse team. We're always looking to improve ourselves and empower the lives of residents and communities they live in.
If this is the opportunity you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Need
Not only this, you’ll be entitled to all the usual benefits from day one including 28 days holiday a year, generous pension and life assurance schemes and access to health and wellbeing packages.
We hold monthly talks where all Trades can attend to highlight what’s going on within Abri and provide information on processes. If you want the opportunity to be part of a committed team who take as much pride in their work as you do and love putting a smile back on customers’ faces, get in touch with us today!
We’ll review and interview suitable candidates as they apply. If we receive enough applications, we'll close the advert early so be sure to apply today so you don’t miss out!
