Growth Equity Investing
Goldman Sachs Asset Management invests in the full spectrum of alternatives, including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure. Since 2003 the Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management comprising more than 65 individuals has invested over $16 billion in companies led by visionary founders and CEOs. We focus exclusively on investments in growth stage and technology-driven companies spanning multiple industries, including enterprise technology, financial technology and healthcare.

Responsiblities
Associates in Growth Equity Investing will be integrally involved with all aspects of the investment cycle including:
- Sourcing, identifying and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities;
- Building relationships with management teams, senior advisors and external industry experts;
- Performing due diligence;
- Financing and closing investments as well as developing, monitoring and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and have an excellent academic and professional record
- Between 2-4 years of experience at a leading investment bank, strategy consulting firm and / or an investment role, ideally within the technology sector
- We are looking for highly motivated, well-rounded, team players who are passionate about investing and want to build a long-term career at Goldman Sachs
- European language skills are strongly preferred
- Passionate and intellectually curious about technology and growth equity investing. Eager to learn about new concepts and committed to ongoing personal development
- Entrepreneurial and tenacious, relentlessly working past obstacles to achieve exceptional outcomes. Consistently taking the initiative to drive progress
- Strong financial analysis/modelling experience with robust analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people, work effectively under pressure and keen to take on responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
