About the Role

In this role, you will drive workplace efficiency and maximise strategic portfolio value through technology and data-driven space optimisation. You will lead the implementation and optimisation of corporate real estate workplace technology to enhance space utilisation, data accuracy, and overall portfolio efficiency, directly informing strategic decision-making.


Main Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimisation of global space management solutions, maximising the effectiveness of the existing space-related technologies and contributing to the long-term vision for the client’s real estate portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive space and occupancy reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for office designs, refreshes, and restacks, providing guidance, identifying optimisation opportunities, and recommending space planning standards.
  • Drive efficiencies in software processes, identifying bottlenecks and maximising value and resource utilisation.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for space management tools, including training, playbook development, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Manage and execute space planning projects while fostering strong partnerships and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Support adherence to timelines and budgets and drive seamless workplace integrations.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies for new technologies and processes while managing relationships with external technology vendors.
  • Contribute to budget development and conduct cost-benefit analyses for space and technology investments.
  • Establish and maintain data governance policies for space and occupancy data.
  • Enhance the overall employee workplace experience through the effective use of technology and optimised space design.
  • Continuously research and evaluate emerging workplace technologies, trends, and training to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in space management practices.
  • Serve as Move/Restack support for the UK.


About You

The ideal candidate should ideally have:

  • Experience in office occupancy planning and measurement.
  • Understanding of estate strategy performance and space utilisation.
  • Analytical skills and process-oriented approach to drive sustainable change.
  • Ability to work in an international team across time-zones as well as independently.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively with IT, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Stakeholder management, including internal, client and end-users,
  • Positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, with high perseverance.
  • Educated to GCSE level or higher.
  • Relevant industry experience or equivalent industry qualification e.g. IFMA, IWFM.
  • Microsoft Office – Excel intermediate level and a good understanding of MS Teams.


Competencies required for the role:

  • AutoCAD intermediate level or above.
  • Experience within an IWMS or CAFM system (Archibus, Tririga, Manhattan, Planon etc).
