We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day upkeep of site facilities and infrastructure in our Campsie site.
This role is responsible for handling a wide range of general maintenance requests, repairs, and installations across the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully functional working environment for all employees.
The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for routine maintenance issues, supporting both facilities and production areas.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out a wide range of basic maintenance tasks, including:
- Support electricians with minor electrical work
- Plumbing repairs (leaks, taps, basic pipework)
- Basic carpentry and joinery (doors, locks, fixtures, fittings)
- Offices and welfare areas.
- Production floor environments.
- External areas (car parks, walkways, fencing, painting etc).
- General building repairs.
- EHS support of all facility and production areas.
- Respond to and resolve day-to-day maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Perform basic fault finding and escalate issues where specialist support is required.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify issues early.
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks to reduce reactive work.
- Report and log defects, damage, or safety concerns.
Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or facilities role
- Knowledge of Plumbing and general building maintenance
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Practical, hands-on skillset across multiple trades
- Experience working in industrial, commercial, or facilities environments desirable
- Relevant trade skills or certifications.
