Description


We are looking for a seasoned Frontend professional to join our fast-growing team and help take our software-focused, global business to the next level. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader who will own and evolve all aspects of our UI.


In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and continuous evolution of our React-based micro-frontend framework. You will ensure that the developer experience and deployment process are best in class while driving the creation and adoption of a consistent design language, adhering to best practices.


You thrive in collaborating with UX designers to bring their vision to life, while also being able to provide constructive feedback. You have significant experience building complex React-based frontend architectures and a keen eye for design and UX. Proven experience in developing component libraries is also essential.


As a member of the Development team, you will have autonomy and the opportunity to make a significant impact on Aurora clients’ experience with our software products.


Key Responsibilities


  • Leading development of Aurora’s component library
  • Collaborating closely with UX designers and rest of team to deliver state of the art UI architecture initiatives
  • Ensuring a consistent design language within our Software Products
  • Drive practical and effective testing within the UI framework
  • Designing high-quality user experience and leading UX best practices for Aurora’s Software suite
  • Being a change and best practices advocate!


What we are looking for


  • At least 3 years of experience using React at scale
  • Experience building and continuously deploying applications
  • Expert Typescript knowledge
  • The ability to technically lead a project from inception to completion
  • Passion for user interface and user experience design
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a great team player
