The Role

Being accountable for unloading and loading of vehicles, ensuring information has been uploaded to the varying systems for the effective movement of dry goods, being accountable for all aspects of raw materials, equipment and safe operation of tasks assigned to.

We currently have a vacancy on our 2 x 8 shift (0600-1400/1400-2200)

Pay: £12.21 per hour (pending pay review)

Your Key Responsibilities

• To act as a professional and trusted advisor to the Dry Stores First Line Manager & Advanced Operative in all Goods in / out activities.
• Regular constructive engagement with, and co-ordination of, the broader teams (other sites, HSE Depts) to facilitate the local delivery of production goals.
• The application of financial rigor to all production activity to ensure value for money for the site.
• Ensuring materials are loaded and unloaded in a safe manner.
• Keeping areas tidy, ensuring pathways and entrances to buildings are kept clear.
• Completing paperwork for relevant loading / unloading of materials and products and correspond with food safety and integrity checks.
• Check labelling of products in a diligent manner, reporting any anomalies to the Line Manager for this to be rectified.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent)
• Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures.
• A personal commitment to role model behaviours.
• ITTSARR / RTITB Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential for this role. This must be in date.
