Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join us, based from our Head Office at Lakeside, Doncaster with agile/hybrid working. Reporting into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the successful candidate will provide support in the production of timely and accurate financial forecasts and management information.

The FP&A Analyst will support during Group financial forecasts, budget and 5-year plan updates. They will undertake variance analysis of current forecast compared to budget and previous forecasts, as well as fulfilling any other ad-hoc reporting requirements to support the forecasting process.

The post holder will also be involved with management reporting; preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, submitting HBF returns, producing fortnightly land security updates. They will prepare and review key financial information and key performance indicators for inclusion in board reports.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role using finance systems to gather and analyse important data, developing the right solutions and evaluating corresponding results. They will be highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills, knowledge & experience

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward and skilled communicator at all levels, who has experience in a similar role delivering timely, accurate and concise reporting. They will be creative, with excellent verbal and written presentation skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into normal terms. They will be passionate about FP&A, adapting a confident, enthusiastic approach. They will be collaborative with the ability to work as part of a team and across functions.

Education & qualifications

Desirable

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
