At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
This role will require travel to our Warwick office 1 day per week and occasional travel to St Ives.

Where will you be working?

What will you be doing?
- You review Balance Sheet reconciliations prepared by local finance teams and lead VAT returns and reconciliations (UK and Irish).
- You manage divisional cashflow consolidation, variance analysis, and provide commentary for Group reporting.
- You lead year-end reporting into the Group Control Team, including stat packs, adjustments, and TB to Stat mapping reconciliations.
- You conduct tax analysis, including Corporation Tax and RDEC.
- You oversee intercompany relationships, loans, recharges, and reconciliations.
- You manage fixed and intangible asset registers, finance lease schedules, depreciation, amortisation, and impairment reviews.
- You monitor bonus accruals, ensure compliance reporting, lead month-end reporting, approve journals, close ledgers, support forecasting, audits, controls, projects, and manage one direct report.
- Strong knowledge of FRS102, IFRS, accounting principles, and tax (VAT and Corporation Tax).
- Experienced Financial Control professional with over three years’ experience, ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Skilled in process review, testing, and using Microsoft tools (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Communicates effectively, influences senior stakeholders, and demonstrates leadership.
- Proactive, organised, and self-motivated, with strong time management and a flexible, team-oriented approach.
- Experience presenting to management.
- Desirable: knowledge of CIS and VAT Domestic Reverse Charge, Oracle/PBCS, utilities or construction sectors, Group/shared services environments, and audit background.
