About the role

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading a finance team, contribute to strategic decision-making at the senior management level, and play a key role in shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, aligning financial plans with business objectives.

• Monitor and optimise cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the financial health of the business.

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth year-end audits.

• Support senior management with financial projects, system improvements, and business initiatives.

• A strategic thinker with a proven track record as a financial controller who is ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified

• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
