Exciting Opportunity for a Financial Analyst at Abbott!

Location: Maidenhead, Nutrition Division

Your Role: As a Financial Analyst, you will support the production of Financial Business Plans, S&OP financial processes, and monthly reporting to ensure high quality.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Support UK and Ireland FP&A activities, including LBE submissions, daily sales reporting, contracts business planning, and expense reporting with a budget of $55MM.
  • Balance Sheet Ownership: Manage inventory and receivables.
  • Business Reporting: Ownership of Gross to Net accruals and forecasting for the Out of Pocket team.
  • Revenue Analysis: Perform revenue analysis for UK & Ireland, ensuring accuracy in wholesaler rebates, DTC pricing, and revenue recognition.
  • Forecasting: Support LBE forecasting process with robust data and analytics.
  • Expense Management: Control department expenses and ensure accurate month-end processes.
  • Balance Sheet and Cashflow: Accurately forecast UK and Ireland balance sheet and cashflow.
  • Daily Sales Reporting: Manage local daily sales reporting.
  • Capital Planning: Work with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate capital reports and planning.
  • Business Process Enhancement: Participate in ANI initiatives to enhance business processes and financial effectiveness.
  • Contract Planning: Coordinate with the Contract Director to ensure business planning for contract wins and capital approval for pump requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Finance Planning and Analysis within a sales company.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability within a teamwork structure.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially with legacy systems, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
  • Business Studies/University education preferred.
  • Organizational and delegation skills to manage workload across multiple stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate and present cross-functionally.
  • Ability to handle pressured timelines calmly.
