What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as a finance partner for all major projects within the business, providing financial advice and analysis from appraisal/scoping through to project cost and benefits tracking
• Assist the Finance Business Partner in the production of the group’s management reporting packs, KPI reporting/monitoring and preparation/presentation of the Group’s five-year strategic plan
• Develop and improve on existing project appraisal, tracking and reporting processes and methodologies. Aid in the development of relevant new indicators and their reporting.
• Provide support for ad hoc analytical and costing reviews, variance analysis and commentary on operational key performance indicators
  
  

About You

What you’ll bring to the team

• You will be a late-stage studier or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA preferred) with proven financial & analytical skills as well as a strong commercial acumen
• You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in the written form, at all levels of an organisation
• You will be highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• You will be a logical thinker and a self-starter who can generate your own ideas
• You will be able to adopt a logical and systematic approach to problem solving and also develop robust controls and financial processes around projects where none currently exist

Working hours

Hybrid working, 2-3 days in the office per week, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
