What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as a finance partner for all major projects within the business, providing financial advice and analysis from appraisal/scoping through to project cost and benefits tracking
- Assist the Finance Business Partner in the production of the group’s management reporting packs, KPI reporting/monitoring and preparation/presentation of the Group’s five-year strategic plan
- Develop and improve on existing project appraisal, tracking and reporting processes and methodologies. Aid in the development of relevant new indicators and their reporting.
- Provide support for ad hoc analytical and costing reviews, variance analysis and commentary on operational key performance indicators
What you’ll bring to the team
- You will be a late-stage studier or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA preferred) with proven financial & analytical skills as well as a strong commercial acumen
- You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in the written form, at all levels of an organisation
- You will be highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
- You will be a logical thinker and a self-starter who can generate your own ideas
- You will be able to adopt a logical and systematic approach to problem solving and also develop robust controls and financial processes around projects where none currently exist
