We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals, and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Finance Manager to join our team in Kent on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.


In this role, you will primarily support Megger Instruments Limited while also providing assistance to Megger Limited’s accounting functions. You will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, drive operational improvements, and support audits. You will also lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and deliver consistently strong results.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead month-end close activities and review balance sheet packs.
  • Support the audit process and statutory reporting.
  • Analyse variances and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Forecast cash flow and support cost-saving initiatives across procurement, manufacturing, and engineering.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.


Experience, Skills & Qualifications


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of standard costing and inventory accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and analytical skills; self-motivated and a proactive team player.
