We're looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping the organisation's financial future, supporting sustainable growth and ensuring robust financial stewardship across a complex and evolving organisation.
Working closely with the Group Chief Controller, executive leaders and international colleagues, you'll provide strategic financial leadership, support key business decisions and help us maximise our social impact while maintaining strong financial performance.

What You'll Be Doing
As Finance Director, you'll play a critical role in shaping strategy, driving performance and ensuring financial excellence across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic financial leadership as a key member of the Fedcap UK Senior Leadership Team.
- Supporting organisational growth through robust financial planning, forecasting and commercial decision-making.
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team across financial accounting, treasury, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensuring strong governance, compliance and financial control across all UK entities.
- Delivering timely, insightful management information that supports informed decision-making.
- Leading the annual audit process, statutory reporting and tax compliance activities.
- Managing financial risk, cash flow and working capital to support long-term sustainability.
- Providing commercial finance expertise across pricing, tenders, investment decisions and business growth opportunities.
- Supporting mergers, acquisitions and integration activity, helping ensure successful financial outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to translate financial insight into strategic action.
- Driving continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting, automation and business intelligence.
- Supporting board and committee reporting with clear, decision-ready financial analysis.
We're looking for a strategic finance professional who can combine technical expertise with commercial acumen and inspiring leadership. You'll have:
- A recognised accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial governance, statutory reporting, audit and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and risk management activities.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, executive leaders and boards.
- Commercial finance experience, including pricing, investment appraisal and financial modelling.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex financial information into clear recommendations.
- Experience driving finance transformation, process improvement or systems enhancement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge, influence and build relationships at all levels.
- A collaborative leadership style and a commitment to delivering positive organisational outcomes.
- A genuine passion for social impact and helping organisations achieve their mission.
