Based at: Sandown Park Racecourse
Contract type: 12-month Fixed Term
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting management accounts and business partnering activity across several locations. This is a practical, hands‑on role suited to someone who can build strong working relationships and deliver reliable financial insight in a busy, varied environment.

The Finance Business Partner will
- Business partnering with General Managers and budget holders to drive performance and support informed decision‑making.
- Regular analysis to highlight issues, opportunities and actions for income growth and cost control.
- Support for budget review meetings to track spend, challenge assumptions and refine forecasts.
- A focus on improving analysis, reporting and processes to enhance clarity and efficiency.
- Leading performance reviews to deepen understanding of KPIs and business drivers.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for designated racecourses.
- Detailed reconciliations between accounts and booking systems to maintain financial accuracy
- Balance sheet reconciliations and clear reporting of key movements
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations with a tthorough understanding of management information systems.
- Confident communicator with experience business partnering with commercial or operational teams to deliver business objectives.
- Skilled in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Analytical with strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of the drivers of business performance and KPIs.
- Collaborative and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial..
- Advanced Excel skills:
