Hours

• Office based with option to work 1-2 days per week from home

The role of Finance Business Partner:

• Partnering with senior finance, technical and programme stakeholders to support decision-making
• Providing regular reporting and analysis on project performance, risks, opportunities and cost drivers
• Monitoring project budgets across multiple programmes
• Supporting financial planning, customer invoicing and commercial analysis
• Taking ownership of the annual budgeting process for the engineering function
• Leading periodic forecasting activities and identifying risks and opportunities
• Preparing and presenting financial insight to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Improving financial processes, reporting tools and data quality
• Supporting financial awareness across non-finance teams

The ideal Finance Business Partner:

• Fully qualified accountant — ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience
• Ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
• Able to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
• Experience in automotive, engineering, manufacturing or technical environments highly advantageous
• Previous project accounting experience advantageous

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing timely financial insight, challenge and analysis to support both operational and strategic objectives.
