Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team, supporting the management of expenses and allocation processes across the business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, providing insightful MI, and supporting stakeholders with expense-related queries. This is a great opportunity for someone developing their finance career to gain exposure across financial reporting, controls and process improvement in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the production of allocated expense reporting across actuals, forecast and plan, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Processing allocation rule updates, completing reconciliations and producing month end MI and reporting outputs
  • Managing ledger period close activities, maintaining the chart of accounts and supporting fixed asset processes
  • Preparing and posting journals, completing reconciliations and investigating and resolving outstanding items
  • Producing VAT returns, statutory reporting files and consolidated reconciliation packs
  • Collaborating with finance teams to support expense, fixed asset and allocation processes and resolving queries
  • Delivering MI and analytical support, including ad hoc reporting for finance and operational stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting system enhancements and automation initiatives

Who we’re looking for:

  • Studying towards or part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent experience in an analytical finance role
  • Experience preparing reconciliations, financial analysis and reporting within a finance function
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, including ledger postings and reconciliation processes
  • Confidence using Excel and Microsoft Office tools, with experience handling data from multiple systems
  • Familiarity with finance systems such as Oracle and MI/reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships across teams
  • A proactive mindset, able to solve problems, challenge processes and contribute to continuous improvement

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience

Additional Information
