The Role:
Drive direction and trend for our in-house Showpo brand by sourcing, developing, and designing exciting, on-trend garments from concept through to production. With a strong commercial eye, design into trend-driven ranges while driving fabric innovation and ensuring a cohesive, well-balanced collection that aligns with budgets and revenue targets.

Day to day, you will:
- Translate visions provided by Trend Forecaster into workable directions for the team including colour palette, print direction & fabric direction
- Source and develop/design exciting peed-to-market pieces that align with the brand and drive category growth
- Deliver a cohesive, commercially viable, and well-balanced collection, showcasing thoughtfully selected fabrics, silhouettes, and trims
- Demonstrate a strong eye for trend, colour, fabric, fit, and construction, with in-depth market knowledge
- Analyse and interpret key reports, including best/worst sellers, category performance, and print analysis, to inform design decisions
- Manage and mentor an assistant, ensuring they gain a comprehensive understanding of the design role for future career progression
- Possess strong technical knowledge with a focus on product quality, fit, and continuous improvement, always maintaining a customer-centric approach
- Ensure all products meet the highest standards for fit, quality, and construction
- Create detailed tech packs with specifications
- Working to key Critical Path dates, ensuring all design, delivery & launch deadlines and requirements are met
- Deliver a commercially successful range that meets all margin and assortment targets
- Experienced designer within a Womenswear brand
- A keen eye for Trend Design
- Ability to provide leadership, supervision and direction to peers in apparel development
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work autonomously and unsupervised
