Your new role
Starting ASAP, you will work as a part of a successful department made up of specialist teachers and will be responsible for:Teaching KS3 and KS4 English.Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.Actively taking part in departmental meetings.Pastoral duties including parents' evenings.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold QTS - TEFL or ESOL teachers are not suitable unless also possessing PGCE in English.
You will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience of teaching within a secondary school or college.Hold a valid PGCE.Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.Up to date EWC registration.
