Reporting to the Engine MRO Operations Manager, the role involves hands-on maintenance activities and is essential to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our aircraft engines.

If you have a strong background in aviation maintenance and a detail-oriented approach, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic team.

What You'll Do

  • Adhere to Part 145 regulatory requirements, along with MOE and FAA guidelines, to maintain quality standards in all maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure safe working practices in line with AerFin’s Health and Safety policy, including correct handling and disposal of waste oils and fuels.
  • Conduct tool control processes, including pre-use checks to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with the Engine MRO Operations Manager regarding production schedules and maintenance issues.
  • Participate in regular meetings with internal stakeholders to provide updates and support collaborative efforts.
  • Handle materials and components related to aviation maintenance, especially with CFM56-5B/7B engines, including quick turn, assembly, module swap, and lease transitions.

What We're Looking For

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship, certification in aviation maintenance or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Solid experience in an aviation workshop environment, with a thorough knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and navigating OEM manuals and technical documentation.
  • Boroscope Inspection experience
  • Strong technical abilities, keen attention to detail, and a demonstrated understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
  • Forklift Truck License desirable
  • Familiarity with V2500 and CFM engines, Quantum software, BSI standards and Boroblend materials is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting within weight limits, in varying workshop conditions.

In return we offer

  • Discretionary Bonus Scheme
  • Volunteering Leave
  • Life Assurance
  • Pension Scheme
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Healthcare Scheme
  • 28 days of annual with an option to buy or sell an additional 5 days per year
  • Electric Vehicle Leasing Scheme
  • Multi-gym pass discount
  • Grandternity Leave
  • Appreciation & Festive Reward
  • Social events and much more
